We have the largest range of furniture at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Brierley Hill, Dudley, West Midlands. We’ve been established for over 21 years and are now looking to add a Retail Sales Professional to our existing sales team.

As a Retail Sales Professional you will be responsible for driving sales and continuing to build on our well-established brand. We’re looking for honest and enthusiastic individuals with great communication skills. Providing the best customer service is at the heart of our business and this starts in our showroom! Along with caring for all our customers, understanding their needs and guiding them to the best product, you will also be responsible for the displays on the shop floor, checking that they’re always neat, tidy and correctly priced.

Previous furniture retail, sales or customer facing experience is preferred. You’ll receive training during and after your induction and will continue to have great support from other members of the sales and sales support teams, who’ll always be there to help you brush up on your product knowledge or sales skills! Furthermore, we have the additional support and guidance from regular supplier training both on and off site.

A lot of the traditional duties expected of a furniture sales person – chasing and arranging customer deliveries, getting involved in resolving customer service issues are not part of this role. This role is very much about you achieving as an individual and ensuring that you perform to target & beyond.

As a Retail Sales Professional you will have a basic salary, uncapped commission on all completed orders, periodic performance bonuses giving you the opportunity to earn £27,000 to £31,000+ OTE, be enrolled into our Work Pension Scheme and a chance to be part of a successful and ambitious family business. In addition, we’ll guarantee your earnings for the first three months to allow you sufficient time to build up your sales commission.

This position involves supporting our sales and sales support team in driving sales and continuing to build on our well-established brand. We’re looking for honest and enthusiastic individuals with great communication skills. Providing the best customer service is at the heart of our business and this starts in our showroom. Along with caring for all our customers, understanding their needs and assisting them during busier times until a sales professional is available, you will also be responsible for carrying out essential sales administrative duties.

Previous furniture retail, sales or customer facing experience is ideal. You’ll continue to receive further training after your initial induction and will have great support from other members of the sales and sales support teams.

You will have the ability to provide outstanding accuracy when banking, completing paperwork, identifying and resolving discrepancies, processing orders, processing retail finance applications and liaising with our customers, sales & sales support teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience is maintained.

As a Retail Sales Office Administrator / Sales Support Assistant you will initially earn £7.50 per hour rising to £7.83 on 01.04.18, be enrolled into our Work Place Pension Scheme and be part of a successful and ambitious family business.

As a Furniture Delivery Driver you will be working as part of our experienced Sales Support Team and will often be the last point of contact with our valued customers. Your role is simple - to deliver an exceptional personal service experience for every customer.

As a qualified and experienced Furniture Delivery Driver you will be required to drive a 7.5 tonne non-HGV delivery vehicle fitted with an analogue tachograph and Sat-Nav. You must hold a valid clean driving licence for such a vehicle, a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and have a minimum of 35 hours Certificate of Professional Competency (CPC) training.

You will need to ensure that all Company policies and procedures are followed in terms of health & safety and customer service when delivering furniture into customers’ homes. Some basic assembly will be required on occasions.

You will work as part of a small warehouse and home delivery team in the checking, loading, delivery and assembly of furniture. Some items can be heavy and the position is physically demanding. You will be assisted whilst carrying out on and off-site duties. We operate a system of Safe Working Practices supported by our Health & Safety Consultants. You will need to attend a Health & Safety Awareness / Manual Handling Course as part of your induction process and before undertaking any lifting tasks.

On a day to day basis you will be accountable to the Office Manager in the first instance and supported by the Sales, Transport & Customer Service Offices whilst out delivering.
